Female bettas.

I was looking at my girl today and got kinda curious. How do you tell females apart. With males it's pretty easy it tell a vail-tail from a crown-tail ect. But most of the females that I've seen don't seem to display any distinguishable fin types. I'm pretty sure that their are female fin types (even if they're not displayed) for breeding anyway. Unless the gene for the tail is on the fish equivalent of the y chromasome.... but I don't think that's the case.

Edit: Question in plain to the point english is how do you tell a female betta's fin type.

I don't think that she'll mind to much. She's gorgeous enough to make up for little imperfections.

My girl's cute b/c she's so little but she doesn't have much color yet. Also her fins are the only part that is colored.... buts that off topic.
