Why thank you! I spend a lot of time sifting through the cups....This guy was way in the back...I start by looking at their little eyes and then evaluate finnage...This boy had it all going on..He was not a happy camper at all! Here is what he looked like right after he went into his new home...Pale and scared....He perked up after 30 minutes.....

Hi Karen
I have to say that I dont think I have ever seen a minty green on a Betta before! WOWOW... He is beautiful! That is a most unusual coloring and I love it. Congrats on your new found boy! You are very lucky to find these beauties at a Petco.
Your photo of Danny boy.. when you first brought him home, just about broke my heart. What sad eyes... awwww... poor lil thing.. I would never have been able to walk away from those eyes either no matter what color he was!
Im so happy that he has found a loving him with you and its obvious in how much he has blossomed in the short time!

I have Zero in it right now but he'll be going back in with his hormonal roomate Lenox soon.....It has an undergravel filter so I need to add a small whisper....

Oh WOW! Danny's spectacular! I've never seen a mint green color like that on a betta either.

He looks like he's going to show a lot of emotion and have a great personality. What a sad, sad little face in his "coming home" picture. How expressive!

Love the new aquarium, too!

Thank you for the nice comments! Dave, is he a combtail? What is the difference between a comb and a crownie? I thought he was a double ray crown....

Shell, this tank is so cool! It measures 16 inches long, 11 tall and 5 inches deep.....It is perfect for a Betta...It gives them a really long stretch to swim...I have never seen another tank like this......It was actually up above their feeding station just sitting there....It was not in a box so I asked the manager to sell it to me at a discount.....She said I can't find it in our computer so I'm going to let you have it for $15.00!!!!!!!!!!! The front is really cool looking.....Not sure if you can see it in the pic but it is rippled across the front.....

Yep, leave it up to me to find something different lol.....Can't tell you who made this tank because there was no paperwork with it.....All I know is it is now my favorite tank!
