I came home to find my female jumper had jumped over the divider in my 10g tank. Her tankmate tore up her tail. I feel horrible.

Will I have to add any treatment to her water or is that just for fin rot?

I lowered the water level in her tank. Hopefully she learned her lesson.

What a surprise!

Keep the water pristine to prevent infection. Add a few drops of garlic juice. If you can get Fish Protector and Vita-Chem, they'd help her heal.
You can use Stress Coat as your water conditioner too.

they dont learn and will do it again if at all possible...make sure also that the divider is all the way down to the bottom as they will dig under as well using the things lucy suggested will heal her up well ..goodluck!

I believe Rose had a post with information on how she added something to the top of the divider to help prevent jumping too.
