What kind of pellets are you feeding your Betta? Maybe you can try something else. Is it a new fish that you just recently added?

Is he eating anything else? Does he show any symptoms of being ill?
What size tank is he in, is it heated, filtered? Are they any other fish in the tank?
You can try soaking the pellets in garlic juice. A lot bettas love it plus it'll help him immune system.

Welcome to Fishlore. Have you tried thawed, frozen bloodworms?

Betta are fussy creatures, who prefer quality pellets and thawed frozen blood worms.
Mine love shrimp thawed cut up in tiny betta strings.

I had the same problem with both of my bettas, even after changing the kind of pellet. I found that betta flakes and bloodworms are great, and they're pretty cheap.

TyTy Guys! You guys are better than other Forums. It's in a small 1L bowl and he lives alone. I'll try some of those.

PS: He's nearly a week old.

your Betta may not be feeling well and the reason for him not eating. You say this is your third fish (Betta's?).The bowl you have him in is way too small. So I am assuming you have no filter or heater for him. There is barely enough room for him to swim around and be happy. The water in a small bowl like that would have to be changed daily to keep the ammonia level at 0. I think your little guy is very unhappy in his bowl and the best thing to do is get him at least a 2.5 or a 5g would be better with a filter and heater.
