| Pumpkin and Betta Boy have a brother ...
I only went to the LFS to get dry goods (food, plant fertilizer, etc)  We were checking the tanks out and the prettiest Crowntail (They keep their Bettas in community tanks with other fish and always look just at the peak of health) came over to see us and was just Mr. Personality.
well we came home with dry goods AND a betta  
He' s kind of a bluish/lilac 
Please someone find a cure, I think I'm a fishaholic 
1) In the bag
2)He's mad. I put him in a photo box for pics
3 & 4) He's showing off
Right now he's happily exploring his new 10 g tank. Glad I had an extra cycled filter running on another tank

| I should know better than to look but all their fish are so pretty and the man who owns the store doesn't believe in keeping them in little containers so they are in 10g tanks with the plants .
Is that what he is Pandora? Thats cool Thought maybe dalmation... but didn't really matter

Congratulations on your new betta boy!  WOW he is special for sure. I just love his coloring and have not seen any like him at my local fish stores. He is a beauty.. and I agree, Twilight sounds like a wonderful name for him.
I can see why you couldnt resist him. Im glad to hear that some stores keep their Bettas in tanks and not those death cups. Good for you and your new addition to the family!  | |

He keeps flaring at the background on his tank I hate to think what he would be doing if I had put the side with the little fishie pictures on it LOL

| He is Marty all over the place and I love him for that. Every Marty I have had has been a little turd. So it sounds like you will have your Marty too. Good luck and congratulations Carol. Marty's (whatever you name them) are fun bettas. They certainly never give you a dull moment.

When I got up this morning(3:30 am) I couldn't find him, I looked all over the tank (how do you lose a fish in a 10g tank?) Anyway..I have a ring of plants down at one end of his tank and they have lots of roots hanging down and lo and behold heres some pale blue and lilac fringe hanging down among the roots. He was asleep in the plants !!! He has plenty of open surface space, and lots of things to sleep on and he sleeps in the floating plants go figure
