| Look what I got today!
I was at Walmart and saw a whole bunch of cute little betta girls for $2.26 each. Mostly blue and greens...but I got a little bluish/lilac colored girl and after looking thru all 20 betta container I found a red/orange girl (I have wanted one since I saw a red Cambodian girl). I was going to leave with the blue one but when I saw the cambo girl I had to have her.
I have them in a divided 10g. I forgot what characters little girl betta are.  I have a few names picked out but I want to see which ones suit their personalities.

| I found a little white girl the other day..I left the store and came back to look at her again lol....I'm so picky I'll know when it is the right one...Beacuse she will be my 1st girly she has to hit me just right....Cute little face and all....
I love your blue girl...She is such a pretty color! I can't believe you found them at Walmart...Our Walmarts don't sell Bettas (thank Goodness) lol | |

No dead bodies or anything any time I have check out the fish. Only a few tanks and shelves by the cat food is where I found a good small selection male veil tails and a bunch of CT boys who were all red with blue or green...they all looked the same. 
The girls were ALL in great condition as were the CT boys. I didn't look at more than one VT boys he was pretty but he didn't even look at me. 
I saw my lilac girl and I went on a looking frenzy with the females...luckily I did, other wise I wouldn't have found my little combo girl.  | |

with all your heartache lately... I think its wonderful that you have brought home two little girls. I love the girls personalities much more than my males. They really are sweet and teeny lil things lol... but boy do they grow fast!
I love your bluish colored one. What an unusual coloring... very very pretty!
They both look very healthy and happy...

good luck with them! | Thanks...I figured since I am having so much trouble keeping male fish around here that I should get some females to see how they do. I am doing everything different with my girls. The tank they are in has been cycling for at least a month after being disinfected with bleach. I am feeding them a bit of medicated food a few times a week for the next while to make sure they are 100% ok. They are both in perfect condition, very active and eating. So we have a good start.  | |
