Does any body know if pygmy corydoras and a betta will be ok in the same tank?

I don't have personal experience with them together, but from what I've read here on the forum, they should be ok.
It depends on the betta's personality.
If you decide to try it, put the cories in first to try and minimize territorial aggression.
Keep your eyes on them and have a back up plan in case things don't work out.

My one betta got along with a snail & clown pleco - but when I had them in with my other betta-he tried to kill them both. I have bettas on both ends of the spectrum. Really make sure that you have a back-up plan.

You'll want a tank big enough to have a school of 6 or so of the cories, if possible. They are pretty timid and have literally been scared to death by a Betta.

I've got 2 pygmy cories and 1 Sterbai in with Raymond and they all get along just fine. Raymond won't acknowledge anything lesser than himself, stuck up fish!
