Zero update

I thought I'd update everyone on my newest addition Zero.....He has settled in so nicely....You would think he had been born here he came around so quick...He is a flirty little Fella.....

The divided tank has gone much better than anticipated....I haven't had a single problem...The only thing that has happened is I have noticed some tears on Lenox's tail...I know it is caused from his flaring....He puffs himself up so big I think his tail burst at the seams! Zero just frolics around and wiggles at him like "you don't scare me" lol..Lenox sticks his nose so tight up to the divider I'm surprised he doesn't get it stuck!

Here are some photos taken today....There is something about the "Great whites" that I just adore...They have a completely different eye expression than any other color......His face is so sweet I just want to smooch him lol

They seriously act different than any other color I own...They are playful and needy lol..They don't have quite the attitude my other boys have.....They absolutely adore me and they show it! Patron thinks I'm a female Betta lol...He bubble nest the minute I sit down at the computer...He is on my desk right now while he recovers from his fin nipping...The progress he has made since being moved to my office is proof positive they love their humans....

Zero is too cute for words! Of course, now that your secret is out, we all know he's not real. He's an extremely convincing windup toy! The fins kind of give him away -- can't be real! And look at that face! No live fish can be that cute and cuddly looking! Pixar studios really got it right with the prototype!

It was fun seeing the contrast in his size to Lenox, who is real, the only real one Karen owns (shhh, shhh, you guys). They're all too spectacular to be real. Now, Lenox, don't go sulking. It's quite a privilege to be alive!!!

Now, why did Pixar make Zero so tiny? I guess they want to start the film, Zero the Betta Finds a Home, the main character, as a baby? Would appeal to families and the kid in all of us!

Really, Karen, he's 100% adorable! I just love him! Great photos, as always.

He definitely has the CUTEST face I have ever seen on a fish. Look at those big, watery, chocolate eyes! And his nose is tapered and pointed perfectly! You better watch out, I have half a mind to come kidnap that boy!!

A spade tail?! I wish my LFS stocked cool Betta like yours does... Maybe it's a good thing they barely have anybody special (I did see one today though!) though.

Yes, I will! Heading up your way with a net, a plastic cup and a baggie with treated water. Ohhhh, the Animatrons don't need treated water, do they, come to think of it! But I'll be sure he/it stays in water for the ride back to Tucson! I don't think you're supposed to let those realistic valves and angelic fins get dry.

Will you drop the other end of my Betta teleportion system off?

Ut oh Pam.....I forgot to mention I had LoJacks installed on my boys lol

I rest my case. You couldn't possibly install LoJack in living creatures, although you could in the tanks. I wasn't planning to kidnap whole tanks, though. Now that you've practically come out and admitted you can install LoJack in the boys ... well, that almost proves they're wind-up or battery operated. However, it poses a bit of a problem for my plan.
