I can't stop shaking, im so excited

I've been a bad person (husband will kill me) i just had to bid on a betta and i won.

Hes a stunning yellow pastel crowntail, off aquabid - not from thailand!!! (i know not rescuing those doomed in cups). Hope i dont hurt my current bettas feelings (he was a cup rescue)! Only question just sold my 10g only other tank for him (shuffling fish around) is a 55g to himself, is this to much space for him?, hmmm note to self buy tank divider!

I just cant wait til he arrives, will post pics of him as soon as he arrives!!

Please have another betta of the month next month! I've already voted on my favourite.

Start thinking of names for him, i'm useless at naming fish.

That 55gal would be a real haven for him! Karen's (Martinismomey) boy Will was in a 55gal at some point (Or is he still in there? It's hard to keep track of all those Bettas Karen!) and he was really happy.

I can afford shipping as my friend ordered a betta from the same person, so we are combining shipping as we only live 90miles from each other!

I cant wait for him to come, just need a name!

Nice color fella. Call him Apollo...as in the sun god. Or King, since he is gold like a crown.

I think other people were having some trouble from a guy in thailand that was selling bettas.

I made sure the seller was from America.

I would never, after reading so many posts, buy a fish directly from Thailand.

I think apollo or king sound good as he is a crowntail will see his temperment when he arrives.

I do have Will in a 55 gallon...He's been in there all his life...He lives alone...I'm not sure about the dividers for the 55 gallons...I looked at some and the looked flimsy to me...I'd love to hear if you find one that is stable..

Hi Karen
I have a divider for my 55g tank. I bought it at Petsmart. Its not flimsy and has worked great when I needed it. I cant remember the brand name tho.
But next time I'm in petsmart I will check it out for you.

Congratulations, he is a beautiful fish for sure. I also like the name Apollo...since we have an apollo, but he is a bolivian ram. My hubby and I have taken to naming our newer fish after greek gods
