You were so unique I hope to find another similar.
He said it only took seconds after the clove oil was added to the fish bowl I keep for this kind of situation. I guess he kinda of exploded out his gills. What a sin.
RIP little fella.
I'm so sorry Allie! You did what you could for him whilst he was ill, and you did the most humane thing you could have done. I'm sure he is having fun trying to find the betta section of the great rice paddy in the sky!

Thanks...I hope I can save Sunny...but he still has worms hanging out of him. But he looks good, better than any of the other betta ever did.
So lots of prayers, good wishes, and good luck charms direct your healing powers to Sunny. It would be amazing if he was the lone betta survivor.

I bet he will be in your brilliant care! Sometimes situations develop that even the best fishkeepers find difficult to handle. Don't worry though - I bet things will look up soon! Look on the bright side: you have lots of spare tanks, and even if you don't want more Betta because of the difficulty (You wouldn't be alone - I'm resorting to wild Betta because sourcing a good quality splendens is nigh impossible it seems!) there is a whole world of nano tanks to discover!

Oh I plan I rescuing Betta boys & girls from our LP/FSs, Walmart or where I can find them. I figure eventually I will come across the one who will last for their full life span...if not they will be spoiled to death in the meanwhile. But I am not going to go crazy getting a bunch...I will start of with one new one one this mess is all over with. Unfortunely to love a betta, is to come to the conclusion that they aren't hardy fish and they may not last too long.
I am going to follow MMs regimen for her betta and see if it makes a differnce here with my betta. I was just using a stress coat/water condtioner for their water. I cleaned their tanks too too much...so I am going do exactly as MM does for her water changes.

My bf is using one the 10gs for a pair of SW clownfish. One of the 10gs is a quarantine/sick tank as is one of the 5gs.

I've seen it myself with Navajo and I agree. They are definitely not hardy as they are made out to be! I might follow Karens plan when I get my imbellis too.
