| A poem to my Betta boys
I always write poems to my Grandkids and dogs...Here is one I wrote to my betta boys...This is the only place I can share it lol...
Enjoy!
My pretty little Betta fish
Your fins so freely flow
The colors on your body
Shimmer shine and glow
Each one of you so different
Your fins your tail your eyes
Bring me such excitement
Each day a new surprise
Some don't understand you
Because you live alone
For me it means you need me
What a friendship we have grown
You greet me every morning
With excitement and sheer grace
I just can't help but love you
When I look at that sweet face
From my Rosetail to my Crownies
You're all my special boys
You make me feel so young again
Like a kid with all her toys
Some don't understand me
My devotion to my fish
I tell them I'm the lucky one
That they can only wish
Until you've owned a Betta
You'll never understand
The bond between the 2 of us
Is amazing and quite grand! |

| OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! I had just stopped crying!!!!!!! As you know Sky, Marmalade and Sleepy decided i was 'uncool' and went off to meet the trend setters at rainbow bridge lake 'lodge party!!!!!!!!!!!!'
i had stopped crying 10 mins before reading this post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My 'half-son Rottie dog' is ill too bad timing as 3 years since i lost my best dog!!!........are you all trying to kill me by tears!!!!

Minx, I was just dancing with David Bowie (his is so infectious that we have to do our betta dance together) and my boyfriend walked in, took one look at the two of us, and walked right back out... shaking his head...

| Oh geez! MM, you are a brilliant photographer, but almost as good a poet! I thoroughly enjoyed the poem. Uhhhmmm, can I come to the party at your house, too? I'll bring the martini glass for Crush, as he seems not to have one. Poor, deprived Crush! (I love Crush!) And I can just drive up from Tucson.
