| My sons left today :o(
Well the day I have dreaded is here.....Landon and my youngest son Kamryn (26) moved out today....Landon starts his new job in CA on Monday.....It is a very sad day for me....This will be the 1st time ever Steve and I have lived alone....The good part is Anberlin will be staying with me for the next 2 weeks....Landon will pick her up after 2 weeks and then the real pain will begin.....
I know I should be happy about this day but I'm not...I'm very sad right now...I'm glad I at least have Annie for the next 2 weeks...It makes it more of a gradual transition.....
I guess I'll be buying a new friend this weekend to help with this empty nest....I'm thinking maybe a cute little female...  and wait until you see what I'm doing with her tank! lol It's ALL girly!
Here is a short video of my Granddaughter saying her Mother goose rhyme....She knows exactly what she is saying even if we don't...How could I ever be lonely with her around lol

| I can't imagine how hard this is for you. I haven't experienced my kids going yet, and I dread the day.
(I cried for a week before my daughter went away to college)

| OMG......As the day progresses the reality it setting in...I will never hear their cars come up...I won't hear Landons work truck coming in the morning for breakfast and to see Annie....I am just heartbroken right now. | |

My friend's hubby is in the military and is going to Afghanistan on a special mission. I am feeling her pain...They are going to be separated for at least a year while he comes & goes. She has 13 and 6 yr old girls too. It's so sad to see people go, especially when you see them everyday.  | |

I think Lucy has it right. Webcams are in order until you can get out here to Cali! I'm moving for college and I mentioned one to my mom... Needless to say, we both had a webcam the next day.
They work great.

Please know that we are here for you and will continue to be here for you. It is not a good substitute for your sons or your granddaughter I know but we will be here to halp you through this time and please know that many of us know exactly what you are going through at this time.
If there is anything we can do to help you feel better well we will be so happy to try to do it. We are here for you.
I am so glad that you will have Anberlin with you for a bit yet. And I second the notion about a webcam. That will be nice for you both.
