| We've got 2 new Bettas! It's been a while getting the pictures up with the move and work, but Stacy got 2 new Bettas from someone who had them in what amounted to big versions of the pet store cups.
They've gotten used to attention and bloodworms now.
Here's Jericho: |

| Thanks, for now, they're sharing a FL light bar since those incandescent hoods get the little 2.5g tanks so hot, but as soon as we can, they'll go into 6.6g bookshelf tanks. |

love your tanks too!!!
i'm thinking about changing some of my gravel to the flat marbles if i can find them for a reasonable price some where.
does anyone know if this will help with the red algae i'm getting on my gravel? |

That should eventually go away by itself , mine took a few months , as it is common in new tanks. I kept stirring the gravel and it did finally go away ( but looks so gross) After it was gone I got a green algae bloom...lol. Can't win. Poor Floyd went without his light on for a week to kill the green algae...good luck...
Also the dollar store is a good place to get all different shapes and sizes of the flat marbles.. try the craft isle |

| Gorgeous fishies! Sammy's coloration reminds me very much of Raymond. I love both Jericho and Sammy! Quote:

| They do sometimes break, so I keep an eye out for broken ones, but mostly ours haven't broken much at all. Quote:
