| Sky!
My boy Sky died this morning!!! I don't know why. I saw him first thing and he was still alive and swimming. He is on my bedside table so i rest my hand on the glass and he sleeps next to it. I fell back to sleep because i'm working a night shift today, when i woke he had died !!! I'm soooooo sad!!! I really loved that little guy!!!!! RIP My little Skyzzle!!!!  |

| As Michelle has just told you we lost Sky this morning suddenly and without any reason that we know of (my little grandbetta). I have told Michelle that we must be grateful that he went quickly and we did not have to see him linger or suffer. It is a pity they all cannot go that way, although it is a shock at least we do not have to watch them suffer. I know you will all support Michelle in her hour of sorrow. Love to you all. | Michelle, I am so sorry that you lost Sky! It is so hard to lose our little friends and I know that you take this really hard. You have my deepest sympathies and please know that we are here for you. It is really a good thing that he was not sick or suffering but what a shock! We are so sorry and to Jacquitaz too. | He has swam over the rainbow bridge to the big betta tank in the sky...where all betta can live together in peace and harmony. Where there is no sickness and all the best treats to eat...where he can look down on you and say..."look Mom I'm fine now. I am so very sorry to hear about Sky. How sad for you... You know, there is not much we can do for them when they pass so quickly and as was mentioned above, its most likely the best way to go. Poor lil guy... at least he didnt have to suffer.

| Michelle, I know you well enough that when you are ready you will offer a home to another little one. It is the finest form of flattery to the ones who have left us that we want to give another the place they filled. They will never take the same place in our hearts for sure, but in our homes, they can be cared for as well. Sky was special to you and that showed. I always think the betta you wake up to is special as they are the one you greet first thing in the morning. They are the one to make you smile the first thing and they are the last one to tell you good night. So I can imagine how you felt for him.
We are here for you.

| guys, you really are great and such comfort!!!! I'm sad he went so quick BUT glad at the same time. Here where i live most bettas are fully grown when we get them so no idea where they are from etc. Only Kiz, Sleepy and Stan have been babies, sadly Kiz died.There are only a few UK breeders i know of, waiting on one spawn at mo!!!!
