A good LFS

I went by my good LFS today to look at the bettas, getting excited about getting my first ones. This was the first time I looked at the LFS display and I noticed something nice about it. It hangs from the wall and the cups are all permanently mounted and they all have a drip filter and drain for them. It turns out the water is heated and filtered as part of the display to keep them all in pretty good shape. I know its still not good that they're in cups, but I figure thats a whole lot better than Walmart

I thought you guys might like to know that at least one LFS is taking decent care of their guests (the fish I mean).

I like to hear that a store actually cares for its fish and not just the sale

One of the LFS by me has the same sort of system. The only problem is that they sell dyed and tatooed fish

Its much easier to prove to people that bettas truely do need filtered and warm water to thrive when the store themselves provide the fish's basic needs.

My bad LFS sells the dyed and tatooed fish, and this is the same place that wont sell live feeder mice for snakes because its inhumane. I guess mice have feelings but fish dont (stupid hypocrytical owner). I figure ALL pets have feelings, not just the furry ones.
