For the past day or so, he just hasn't been his usual nippy, jumpy self. He is hiding from me, fins are frayed again (haven't quite healed up since he chewed them back when) and looks pale. He is not bloated which is different from my last 4 who passed.
I am treating with Maracyn Two and stress coat. He still comes ups to see me, but usually he sees me coming across the room and is already jumping up before I get there. I cannot loose anymore betta, but especially NOT Sebastian. He is in a divided tank with JB who is fine. The toughest betta I have had in a long time. He had fin rot when I got him home from the LFS and recover completely from it. But I am treating the whole tank just incase.
Everyone cross the fingers for him...I do have hopes.

Oh Allie, I hope he gets better!!! You have lost too many bettas lately and I know that you could not stand to have any more heartbreak. The fact that he isn't bloated is definetly a good sign. Please keep us posted and let us know how he is doing.

Allie I'm so sorry you have to go through this.....I just want to figure out what is going on with all the Bettas lately......Something just isn't right.....I'm having tail problems with Patron....He eats and acts normal but he is losing his tail......

I'll be praying for our beautiful Sebastian.....Stay stong Allie.....

Hmm.. do you have a pic of him now? How is his appetite?

I'd start adding garlic guard or garlic juice to the tank daily.

that's great!!! i'm so glad it wasn't anything too serious....btw, martinsmommy...isn't Patron the platinum one?? the one that's sooo awesome-looking he CAN't lose his tail!!! he's too cute!!!

Yes, Patron is my platinum prince charming and he is losing his tail....Don't worry though, he'll be fine....He is getting the best treatment they offer here in AZ.....He is with me lol......
