| Need some help???
 Ok..... I came across some unexpected money, always good. So after I get my bills all caught up... I'm thinking about getting a betta.... or two... maybe 3 
I was wondering if anybody could tell me the name of the breed that have those beautiful flowing tail fins. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. |

| Thanks everybody, I really appreciate your help.....BTW..... I got one today!!!!!!!!! I got it from wal-mart.... had to get the poor guy, he looked soooo unhappy in that cup. I wanted to take them all.... but I don't have enough room............. yet.... I'll post some pictures as soon as he get more comfortable. | |

I have a little hex tank set up for now. I'm gonna go get him a ten gallon tomorrow. Then of course wait for the cycle. But I figured my smaller tank was better then that stupid cup! | |

| OMG!!!!! I have to tell you guys the story about the cashier!!! She was talking about her betta she "had" at one time. She was telling me she was cleaning his "bowl" and she accidently dumped him down the drain!!! And she was laughing!!!! I was mortified  , how can somebody find the funny  ?!!!! | Ok guys, I got some pictures of him, not very good ones though... I had to put him back in his cup just to get the pictures. He swims and hides every time i walk up to his tank. I wish the color would of come out better he is a beautiful lavender whit white on his fins. | |

| Yea, I'm familiar with that color pattern and he's going to get richer colors as he settles in. It's a beautiful pattern.
They can be shy at first. Our most shy Betta to start with was Teddy Bear. He was really timid at first and hid in his cave a lot. We just gave him regular attention, talking to him and letting him see us by the tank and that we weren't going to harm him any. Now he's a total attention sponge and loves to show off for the camera. | |

| He will be prettier after a few days of good food and attention and love. It is amazing what love can do for them. Although he is a lovely little guy right now you will be amazed at the change in him in a few days. They do make a real turnaround and do a flip and you would swear that they are a different fish entirely.
Just take time to get to know him and let him know you and let his personality come through and you will be truly amazed at how much love passes between you. The next time you write, you may know what I mean. It will surprise you. Of this I am sure.
