I Received My Betta Calendar !!!! Yay!!

Well everyone, I am shouting with joy to tell everyone that I received my betta calendar today.............IT IS WONDERFUL!!!

I actually got quite goosebumpy and choked up when I went through it, all those wonderful betta friends we have, and the ones we lost.

I would love to put it up now....(I think that is bad luck so I won't).

After not being on the forum for a couple of days, and reading of the losses of some of our best friends, the calendar is definetly something to bring me up from being down at all the sad news.

It is a wonderful tribute to our little mites......and all of the love they share(d) so selflessly.

Karen, You are a ROCK STAR!! You manipulated those photos to look so nice, I am so impressed! And there is my god- betta -boy on the cover. I love that magnificent fish.

I truly hope many of you can manage to get this calendar and when you feel sad or lose one of your babies....look at it, and know they are all still safe and sending their love, even if they have left us!!!

Karen.............I got my "Dunn" tank also..........great quality, and my beautiful god-betta-boy Dunn right there over my heart!!!

I am full of joy tonight friends...these are definetely the things that make my " Things to be Happy About " list today!!

Val...

You're embarassing me lol...But thank you so much for all the nice things you said..I absolutely LOVED doing this calendar...It consumed me until it was done..I wanted to do it early in the year to make sure it got done in time for everyone to receive it before Christmas..

I start working on the Chihuahua club of American handbook photos next month..It is a hardback breed book that comes out every few years..It is a huge project for me..Then after that comes my Chihuahua calendars! My Chibabies are my very 1st love in life...

OK enough babbling on my part...Glad you enjoyed the calendar and want you to know that Mr. Dunn sends you a great big bubble nest filled with love!

Can you post pics so we can see what it looks like? Really, it sounds great. I've been so busy that I've forgotten to order ours. I've got to do that soon.

I would like to say that I got a Large sized one and the photos and graphics on it are lovely also. It did not distort or make them look out of place at all. So if a LARGE calendar is your wish do not hesitate to purchase one. They are absolutely lovely and well worth the price of admission. I ended up giving mine to three little mites from my church who were very good little helpers yesterday and who love my fish almost as much as I do. (for 3 and 2 year olds they already know not to tap on the tanks and that the fish all have names and personalities... quite an accomplisment. They have all had their own fish by now and understand them well.)

They know my fish so well by now they know their names as well as I do and even have some of them named (loaches and plecos) that I do not have names for. And my fish like them although they do not normally respond to other people well.

You are such a wonderful lady Rose....It is a true gift to a child to teach them the responsibility of caring for an animal (or any other living thing) Those children are so lucky to have you.....

Nope not me. It is their mom all the way. She had them trained before they were 6 months old to behave. I have never seen anything like it. They sit in church like adults and behave in peoples homes without being told and she does not have to call them down. Like I said the extent of our misbehaving yesterday was to sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" at the top of our lungs all the way through Walmart. Everyone thought I was crazy but I had a blast. I was probably the one that needed the spanking.
