Can a male betta be kept in a community tank if so with what kind of fish ?

this is not recommended, but it was worked before.

its hard to tell because every betta is different, some are more territorial then others.

the only fish usually reccomended are snails, otocinclus catfish, and corydora catfish,

ive seen it work with small tetras that dont nip fins, like neons

Bettas aren't good community fish and it's more likely to fail than succeed. Sometimes it works, but I don't recommend it and if you try it, be sure to have a backup plan for the Betta if the other fish pick on it.
