I can see why he is your pride and joy. Love him. The difference between his white and Casper's white is. Patron is opaque and Casper is platinum. All these color differences are confusing sometimes. I've been reading up more on tail and color types...holy moly!!

The seller listed him as platinum...I'm not sure what color he is but he sure is a stunning little boy...He doesn't appear quite as white in person....He is actually the color of a white pearl...

Thank you...It was Casper who got me loving the great whites....I had never even seen a white betta until Casper and I knew one day I'd be owned by one!

Actually Platinum is the Metallic form of white. There are whites and then there are Platinums and the difference is the metallic scales.
