Here is a little video of my boy Shy-Lo, stealing and eating with the cories; Sammy; Scooter & Scooter ( Ya I got a 3rd one and can't tell them apart).

You may even see Norman the snail in there. Shy has lately taken a fondness to squeezing himself through the smallest places he can find...he is naughty, and for sure, he is NOT shy!!!

great video! Shy-Lo is a lil stinker hahah... stealing the food from the cories and stirring up the food so it floats out of the bowl. Seeing your cories, make me miss mine so much! I may have to invest in them again...
..btw.. how do you keep your tank so free of algea?

I have never really had much prob with algae in there, Kate, but I do wipe the front and side walls with the algae brush when I change water. Also, I have a really good worker bee Apple snail, Norman in there.

Sometimes Shy and the cories get so busy chasing each other that Norman slides over, sits on the food and that is the end of it. Man, I can waster hours sitting in front of that tank. LOL

I need to get Apple snails again. I miss mine. I loved them when I had them and they did well but I do not know why they did not make it I think the tanks were not big enough to support them. (5 gallons) Now the tanks are bigger I think they could support a snail in each one. I loved my snails.

I also love the names of your cories: Sammy, Scooter and Scooter. It reminds me of that television show a long time ago with those characters Larry, Darrel and Darrel. It was a hoot. They are so cute. I have 2 sterba's cories now and wish I had more but no more room with all the loaches. I may move them to the front room tank with Marty.
