| No I don't. But I am planning on getting one or two of Heather's Cooper babies when they are ready. If I go the fish store I will be just rescuing another betta from the place I vowed not to get betta from anymore. Most of the ones I have bought from there have died to fast. Most had something wrong with them at one point or another. All my veil tail boys except JB (Petcetra) were/are from there.
*Knocks wood* I haven't had a problem with Casper who I got off Aquabid from Thailand. |

I am going to visit my parents and I need to run an errand. Guess where I am going besides where I need to go. I have to at least check them out, eh? |

| Here is my rule for checking out new a betta! Go the day before that new shipment is do to check out all the ones that have left over. The day of the shipment plan an errand at 11:30. Yes I know about what time the shipments are due in at what stores. Stop the store on the way back see if there is anything that wants to come home with me. Get the fish home and in a 1 gallon bowl before work. I keep one for a decoration planted with a few pond snails it. After work start setting a tank I just happen to have setting around and start cycling it. By that time I know I am caught. Excuses I have so many plants and they are so nice I don't want to compost them yet again. That tank was sitting there collecting dust about time I got off my lazy butt and do something with it. The betta was the healthiest one there and besides I don't have one that color. What that one isn't the same color? You sure you aren't colorblind? Then it is time to start looking for another tank at thrift stores to have on hand for the next time. |

I usually get him to call him if we are looking for anything particular. He'll order it in for us and we get it at the same price he does. One time I got to open the shipment and look thru every betta. Now that was cool. |

| We are trading in our babies African cichlids for some money and in store credit.
I am checking out the halfmoon betta boys and if I findone I like I am getting one. It's not like I am paying for him. So hopefully the HM boys are in better health than the veil tail boys are. |

My bf divided one of the 12g with pieces of a 10g, the other 12g has 10g store bought divider along with a piece of plastic canvas so Buster and Seb can't see each other. They both chew their fins when they see each other
I am debating on getting more plastic canvas. When I tried dividing the 15g the boys could get under it and hop over it. I think I'll just buy the dividers for now...unless we can come across some glass perfect for dividing. |
