I've been distracted by other things, so I haven't been posting. Thought I should let you know that Kappa and I are still alive and well. I bought a package of aquatic plant bulbs, and am currently trying to get one to sprout in her tank to eat some of her nitrates. I'll let you know how it turns out, and post some pictures when/if the thing ever grows.

I have been checking in from time to time, but as soon as you fall behind a few days in keeping up with topics, it becomes a chore to even TRY. Oy!

I did the plant bulbs one time and I loved them. They take a while though so don't give up on them. I had almost forgotten about them and here came little plants!! I loved all the types I got so good luck. The only one that caused a problem was one with a big leaf on a long thin stem as it kept growing out of the water and got to floating on top of the surface and making the betta mad because it was in his way all the time, but it was PRETTY!

Kind of like a lotus.
