Hey Guys,
I went to Petco over the weekend and..... suprise suprise..... I found another betta. They had a white delta tail betta and I absolutely had to have him (I was so excited that I was getting such a good deal, since I have seen the white bettas for $20 and up on aquabid). I took him home and put him in a 10 gallon before we left town and left the lights off so that he could get acclimated to his surroundings. When we got home he was doing great and ate the food that I gave him. Yesterday, I went to get a divider and a little friend for him, and I came home with a beautiful turquoise and white crowntail. They are both so cute, but my husband made me promise that I wouldn't buy any more. I guess he's right. 9 bettas is enough The problem is, I always have to go to the LFS for fish food, etc, and I just see one more that I have to have, lol. Anyways, introducing Dumbledore (white delta tail) and Pices (turquoise crowntail)!

Beautiful new babies! I just love the white.... he is gorgeous! And the Crown Tail is beautiful too. I have yet to own a CT.. as much as I love them. You must have a great LFS to find these beauties!

Oh wow. They're both gorgeous. People need to stop showing off their little guys - I love my girls but I'm so tempted to pick up a male, especially a crowntail now. Congratulations on the two little guys.

Thanks! I am such a sucker for Harry Potter. I don't know whether I am more addicted to fish or those books As far as Pices goes, I am a Pices and since its a water sign it just made sense. His color really reminds me of water so I thought it fit him.

I actually found them both at Petco. I was pretty shocked. For some reason one of the Petcos by me gets in really nice bettas on a regular basis. The other Petcos don't have many bettas at all, and most I see are sick. I don't know why this one is different. Even though I don't like that they keep their bettas in those little cups, they are cheaper than buying them on Aquabid or from another LFS.

I admit it....I am definetly a betta addict!!! It is so hard to keep those promises, you are right. I feel bad because my husband just gives in if I break my promise, but this time, I feel like I should try my best to stick to it out of respect for him and how tollerant he has been.

They were fabulous finds and so healthy looking too. They are lovely boys and I do hope that you are able to keep your promise if that is what you want to do. I do have a promise of that type made myself and it is hard to do I know.

Thanks Rose I am hope that they continue to stay healthy. I know promises like this are hard to keep and it is good to know that others out there are doing the same. I feel like it will be a good thing because I can focus on maintaining the tanks that I have and save me a bit of money as well
