While I had to clean the girls tank today, I usually put them in with a divider in one of the males tanks. Today they went in with Glory and hung out. It is the first time in a long time that Ive seen Glory with so much energy. I think I have found the solution to getting him off his sleeping leaf and getting some exercise! lol... So here is the video of the three of them hanging out together.
ohh and dont mind the typo in the title... but I was too lazy to go back into the movie maker to edit it.

OMG that was wayyyyy funny...glory is a typical man..get the attention then tease and walk away hahahaha...the girls almost looked like they were going to fight for his attention...amazing vid!
Your welcome Lucy.. it was fun to do. Yep, they were playing hard to get.. and Glory tried in every way to get their attention lol... But the girls did try to get over on the other side of the divider and at one point, I looked up and Darling ( red fins) did get through a crack.. I scooped her up before Glory even knew she was there.. whew!

Funny thing with the girls... Precious (blue fins) really is the aggressor of the two girls and is always flaring at Darling. But Ive never seen Darling flare back, she just ignores her. Good thing too! I guess since Darling is the younger of the two, she gives Precious the respect and doesnt do anything to aggravate her. lol...

Thank you! Glory is a butterfly. His colors are turquois blue red and white.
I got all my kids at Petsmart. I got lucky with Precious, being a double ray crowntail. The divider they sell at petsmart as well. For a ten gal tank it costs somewhere around ten dollars, Im not sure but it wasnt any more than that.

I was so worried about Glory. He just hangs out on his broad leaf and sleeps. He ignores me.. hardly eats. After eating about three pellets, he says thats enough, he's done eating and goes back to his leaf. Not your typical betta boy! lol...
This was great to see him moving around and interacting with the girls.
I may have to do this more often!

Some just seem to rest more, but he looks healthy and does eat. Do new toys interest him any?

you know that was something I had thought of before, while I was concerned about his 'depression'. But I really dont know what to get him. Do you have any suggestions on something he may like? He is a good size boy probably body size is around 2.5 inches. So cant get him anything real small.
But I would be willing to try something that may help him, he sure is shy still around me and Ive had him for almost a year now

Are you talking about your spectacular Will? You mean he's lazy? Hard to believe with the way he's blossomed, but maybe growing those super-long fins takes a lot of rest! Anyway, I guess you're going to have to get two gorgeous ladies like Precious and Darling to wake him up!

Thanks Kate. i lost her a while back, before Xmas. I bought Kizmet then, he was sold as a tiny girl and very quickly grew into a stunning delta male. Sadly i lost him about a month ago.
Honey was a gem, i really miss them both very much.
