Hollywood - Settled in his new home

Hollywood's settled in well. The first day he just hung around the top of the water, but now he's exploring more. He even decided to taste the Oto's cucumber today, though apparently didn't care of it

Anyway, these are the clearest pics I have of him so far:

"You're here, now feed me!"

Grumpy face because he didn't get more food:

He's such a handsome peach dalmation! Looks like he's having a great time in there.

He is so lovely and it looks like everything in the tank is Dalmation too. That is such a fun tank theme.... great tank and lovely baby.

Congratulations.

Thanks guys. I haven't been home much the last two days, and he's acting like he's in a sulk...won't come up to the front of the tank unless I sit there and wait for him.

He's also taken to charging up the current to where the filter water hits the surface, then riding it to the front, then charging again. After 5 times or so he gets bored and swims around the rest of the tank, then he goes back to it...fishy treadmill?

Lucy - Yeah, I got that a long time ago, it's a Spongebob Squarepants pineapple made for aquariums. He likes poking around the windows, and the Corys swim in there all the time. I thought about retiring it since I prefer natural tanks like my 29 gal, but fish *love* it, so I went kinda cartoon-y for Hollywood's tank instead

Wow, he is so cute. I love the name! I had been waiting to see a picture of him, because I have never heard of a peach dalmation betta! I WANT ONE! If you ever decide to give him up . . . I'll be happy to take him! J/K, of course.

For some reason there seems to be a lot of them here all of a sudden. I looked at bettas for a few weeks before I actually got Hollywood, and never saw one like him, but have seen 2-3 since then in my LFS and Petsmart. So come to Ohio and get one! (not that he'd be as awesome as Hollywood of course )

Does anyone know if there are girl dalmatian bettas too? Just curious, since I haven't seen any.

Yea, when we got Sora - he was the only peach dalmation that we'd ever seen. But since then, we've seen more and more of them, both in Florida and here in Denver. Gives me the urge to buy Sora Jr. sometimes. I haven't seen any females with the peach dalmation coloring. It may show differently with their finnage.
