Tea-Drinking Bettas, a Trend?

I know, a couple of weeks ago, someone posted about their little girl sharing a nice, hot cup of tea with her little betta-boy.

I was scrubbing what I think may be white algae (it's sort of translucent and gritty, and has been forming on everything in the tank) off of the thermometer, walls, heater, cave...everything but the plants and substrate...and decided to move things around a little. You can now see the text on her cave clearly, and I thought I'd share.

Well, today it's green-pea-tea. She's been...going, but looks a little "puffy" like she might be getting a little constipated. She likes peas, so she doesn't really mind being on a cleansing diet.

Yea, I hear green pea tea is healthy for you.

She may be a little plugged up if you say so but keep in mind that she is going to be a bit beefier with building up her swimming muscles. She can fool you. But a cleansing diet for a bit won't hurt her as long as it is not too long...she is a growing girl.

Rose

She is a cutie!

Yeah, I know, Rose...but she's growing in the wrong direction!

Just like me...I grew horizontally, not vertically.

You mean we're supposed to grow vertically?

I guess so, but I'm not really sure. I have no personal experience with the matter. I stopped getting taller at age 11, at 5'2" (157cm)...and started getting wider.

Hi!

I seem to grow up... Maybe all that dashing back and forth from the LFS helps?
