Lord help me......

I should never be allowed in another aquarium!!!

She's a light creamy pink, with red fins and violet streaks... and blue eyes... beautiful baby blue eyes.... and she was getting bullied!!

Did I have a tank ready for her? No.

So I had to walk away, heartbroken. I now have a filter, heater, and marbles, but no tank.

Now I need to con a friend with a car into helping me pick up a tank.

Hi!

Did she give you the look? Just hope she did - they always stay there if they give you the look!

She sounds so pretty. I try not to look at the bettas in the store.
It's so hard to leave them all behind.

Mine was still at the store over a week after I first saw her, which made me all the more inclined to rescue her from her Cup of Death...

I have two small plastic Critter Keepers, especially for "Gotta have this betta" emergencies.

If you have a small powder room, you just close the door, crank up the heat and keep the fish there until you get a tank.

Great idea.
I actually have a not so pretty 5g for those gotta have emergencies. The tank is so old you can't see thru it very good...but it does hold water.

I got a reptile house (9.25 gallons) for this new one coming and it will have one of the newer sponge filters and some of the new Turbostart700 I got that is in the fridge waiting to cycle the tank. I am going to write a review on this product for the May issue of the Fishlore magazine. I am very impressed with it. Thank you, Nicole for making me aware of it.

Aww, I hope she's there when you go back. I really hate when I have to leave one at the store that I want so much to take home.
