A poll on how you name your fish

This is a two-part point of curiosity for me. I'd like to make a more official poll, but I need some good, standard options to use.

Part One: What TYPE of names do you give your fish?
1- named after a person (named after your cousin Amy)
2- other "human" name (a common name given to people, like Jim or Alice)
3- a "pet" name (Spike, Fluffy, names generally given to pets not people)
4- named after a characteristic (color, personality, like calling them Stinker, Piggy, or Midnight)
5- named after mythology, aquatic or otherwise (Poseidon, obviously, but also Athena, Zeus, Thor, names like that)
6- named after other heroic legends (Merlin, Robin Hood, stuff like that)
7- named after cartoons (like names from The Little Mermaid or Finding Nemo)
8- other source (please explain)

Part Two: What are the most common names for fish?
- Nemo
- Poseidon
- list the names of your fish!

For betta I like to go with people names:
Jasper, Holly, Mr. Peach (named after Mr. Pink from the movie Reservoir Dogs), Sebastian, it thought it suited my yellow betta, Sky b/c of the blue coloring and I am considering names for my new guy now. Aries: b/c it's soon going to be aries in the month, horoscope wise and Aries (spelled different is a Greek god)

Angelfish: Angel (duh) female angelfish, Ziggy b/c of her stripes and Smokey, when I first got him he looked like a smoky brownish black color.

Plecos: Blue Panaque: Doobie it suits his laid back personality.

Datnoid: Scooby, b/c of the cartoon Scooby Doo. He is a scardey cat/fish! Just like Scooby & Shaggy, taking off hiding then peeking out from the spot.
My blue hap ahli pair are the only African cichlids we have named, I have had them since they were an inch and they are full grown now. Spike(his white blaze up he face & dorsal looks spiky) is the male, and Blu is the female (blue hap).

Ares, aka Mars, was the god of war - a good namesake for a feisty betta!

I name my fish according to my first impression of their personalities. IF they immediately strike me as humanlike they get people's names, if they do not they have been getting Mythological names because I think they are like little gods. Have not goddesses at present.

My fish are now: Ariel, Io, and Qwin. The new fish I just ordered today is going to be MartyIII, but will be called Marty as the other Martys have been. There have been at my house: Azul (he was blue); Noel; Marty; Blaze; Marty Jr.; Triton; Alexander; Alexander Jr. (A.J.); Damon; Sara; Emma; Misty; Jasmine; J.T. (named after a friend); and Nate. The newest little guy did not even make it long enough to have a name placed on him but since I do not want him to remain unnamed, he is going to remain in my memory as Stinker. He was that. Too bad.

My niece named the guy in my avatar "Beetlejuice", since he's so flare-y and naughty.

My other male is Skye, since he's pink and blue like a sky at sunset.

My cambodian female is Holly, named because I got her near Christmas and my other girlie is Teena, since she was SO teeny when I got her.

I have near zero imagination for names, unlike the rest of you.

My BN pleco is named Prickly Pete!

We usually name our Bettas from the impression that their personality gives us.

Angel is a name we've seen used for other Bettas.
