What does your new betta look like?

He is burgundy and dark blue and a Combtail with large fins and he has the most spunky personality. He is a real little spitfire and will fight with me every time I go to feed him. He is full of attitude and betta naughtiness and will be a real handful.

I would love to get some pictures of him but I want to wait until his quarantine is over so he is in the other tank. I think maybe he will be so busy investigating the tank I may be able to get some decent shots. Right now he is totally full of himself and does not come to the front of the tank unless he is getting fed.

Now I have the sad task of telling you all that he did not make it long enough to complete the poll. He was gone when I went to check on him this morning. He just looked like he had frozen in mid flare. He was active and cute and seemingly healthy but did not make it. I had wondered at his age as he was so much bigger than the bettas I am used to, so he could have simply died of age related issues. He did not have any obvious health problems. I did christen him "Stinker" as I did not want any betta to be buried with no name. I felt it suited him.

Aww, we're sorry you lost Stinker - he really had a great character and you sure made him happy for his 'retirement' so he could let that fiery character out.
