Is Duplo safe?

Hey, I was just looking through my closet, and found some old containers of Duplo, and was wondering if it would be safe to make into a castle/structure/thing to put into my betta tank? I figure there are no sharp edges, so it should be okay? Thanks,

Cory

Those are the overgrown plastic Lego-like things for really little kids, right? I think they'd be okay.

Yeah they would be okay. I would rinse them off with dechlorinated water before you put them in the tank though in case they have dust on them or something. Bettas love little caves as long as the openings are big enough to move your thumb in and out of easily without sticking. Then the betta would not get stuck in them.

Yup, definetly rinsing them off before I put them in. It's more of a cube with the front taken off, so it would be a place for him to go inside of
