Amonia Levels

What is a healthy ammonia level for a 10 gallon aquarium?

hmmmm there is NO healthy level of ammonia for a tank. You shouldnt have any ammonia in your tank at all.

the test wasnt quiet .25 but it wasnt zero it was like an in between shade
I havnt had time to do a water change since i brought him home on sunday but tomorrow i am doing one
the water is very clean and he's very active and his color is getting more amazing since i've brought him home and he also had a pea tonight!

Its a liquid test kit w/ a test tube and i add drops of 2 different things

If you're using Prime for your water conditioner then it's really helpful at times like this when you get a litle ammonia spike. Water changes will bring it down - test before a water change so you get true results, or at least 24 hours after a water change.
