I just want to thank everybody for keeping this forum alive. As a new Betta owner I found so much useful information here. It is great to know that there are people who treat their fish with love and respect. Your rescue stories are the best!

I agree - this is a great place. As a newbie to the forum and to keeping bettas it was amazing to find friendly people who were willing to help solve my problems, ease my worries, and most importantly, share my love of these friendly lovable fish. Thanks to all!

We are all being taught the ropes by the true experts, the bettas themselves! They teach us something everyday..and you learn by the way they act and treat us and the world they live in. If you watch your betta and get to know their personality and follow their lead, they can and do train us to be what they want us to be. The thread about "Betta Talk" is one of the most interesting ones I have read..all about the different ways betta owners learn the ways the bettas let us know what they are saying to us.

It is truly fun to come here and I have met and grown to really care for the people and bettas I have gotten to know here. It is a fine group.
