Would these work together?!?

its almost a dumb question cuz ever since i joined this forum ive noticed that most people believe in not having female bettas together.. but i'll ask any way.

i recently got a new 125 gal (great price!!) and moved all the fish from one of my tanks to it and are moving all my female bettas into the smaller tank (yet larger than what they have).. to save on power cuz 7 fish tanks in a room is just too much!

i have 5 female bettas.. 2 live in one tank and 3 live in the other.. everyone loves one another and i dont have any problems with aggression. ive had each of the girls living with every other girl and still had no problem.. so everyone knows eachother and have made friends.

my question is... do u think the 5 girl bettas can live with tetras? i kinda wanted to get neon tetras but im afraid to mix them before i know if its safe..

thanx in advance!! heart <3

I have housed female bettas before with no problems.
I have housed female bettas before with one female attacking all other female bettas.

It really depends on the fish involved.

I would just keep one of your smaller tanks set up just incase you need to pull one in an emergency. Once everyones settled then you can take it apart. It never hurts to try. I have some red tetra's in with mine and they keep to themselves and don't pay any attention to my Zed at all. And its not like the Females have the fin's the males have anyways. But like I said, keep another tank handy for the first little bit just in case you have a trouble maker in there

I wouldn't put neons with bettas, even if they're not aggressive ones, since neons tend to be nippy. I agree that it would be a good idea to have a spare tank set up just in case the bettas decide to stop liking each other.
