Just got back from vacation, nice to be back!

This was the first time away from the bettas for more than a day or so in quite awhile. Really missed the little boogers My dad was around to take care of them and once he got used to it, said he really enjoyed it. That was nice to hear. Everything looks good in their tanks for the most part, except Andre's tank had a small snail break out while I was gone. I picked around 10 of them out of the tank, but left a couple in there. The tank is so stinkin' clean for a change. Once I get back home, I'll have a pet store that I can take the snails to as needed. Is that a good plan, do you think? It was fun watching him check one snail out and the snail immediately go into the shell (or maybe I'm too easily amused).

Welcome back! Happy New Year!!!!

My poor Spot with terrible eyesight has a BIG snail problem in his tank, little ramhorn type things, i HATE them and try to get rid of most as my poor boy thinks they are pellets when they are small. If they hide and grow he is SSSOOOOO cute watching them...........i call them all Gary.....( I'm a HUGE Spongebob fan......didn't get the life i asked for this Xmas!!!) so NO you are not easily amused or if you are you are NOT alone!!!!

You just described me as well, haha!! At first, there was only one who I named Gary, but he resproduced while I was away so me and my girlfriend call them "Garies." I took out most of them, but still have a couple in there......I had an algae problem in there that has gone way down since the invasion of the snails. Hopefully they don't get too bad though.
