Betta Reflection

I got a new betta today, and I was reading that they can get stressed out from seeing "other" Bettas. So I was wondering, is he going to be fine seeing his reflection on this plastic from the water against it in my tank?

What plastic in your tank? Most plastics do not reflect well.

Why do you have plastic? NVM . If the plastic isn't shinny enough he should be good.

It's an Eclipse tank. It's plastic-y. He keeps staring at his reflection.

I read the other topic. I will just have to control the light instead of on a timer so he doesn't see himself all the time.

You could try moving the tank (with some water out) just a little even to see if the lighting changes how he can see his reflection. The acrylic tanks don't usually allow them to see their reflection, so it's probably a trick of lighting .. OR it could be something near the tank maybe? In which case, the solution would be to move whatever is near the tank that is causing it.

It is by my other tank, but I think I solved it. I put a black shirt between the two and it cut down the reflections ALOT. Only thing reflecting now is my TV.
