Could this be the start of fin rot?

I just noticed a tiny little pin sized , what i think is a hole in my Betta's fin today. The thing is I'm not sure if it's really a hole because his coloring has gotten a little brighter in the past couple of weeks sense I started feeding him Atison's Betta pro.

Here are some pictures just click "next" in the slide show to see more:

If this is the start of a hole forming, does that mean he has fin rot? If so, How do I treat it?

A tiny hole like that is most likely in effect just a tiny tear, possibly from decor or flaring. I would just continue to keep his water in good, clean condition and if you have VitaChem or Fish Protector, add that daily and watch it for any changes.

Ah, good.I took out the plastic plants i had in there until the silk plants I bought online get here hopefully today or tomorrow and I cleaned his tank so I guess that should get rid of the problem.

Looks like a small tear. Vitachem works great to help patch things up like that....if you don't have any, maybe you can ask Santa for some
