He has been SO happy in his new home. He loves swimming around his plant and playing in the current. It took him less than one day to figure out when the hood is open, food is coming, haha! Oh, and last night, I was feeding him some blood worms. He ate the first two, but spit the third one out and acted uninterested in it. I got the turkey baster to get it out, but he quickly swam up to it and ate it, as if to say "oh, you better not...this worm is MINE!" He's also quite the bubble maker, enjoys his cave, enjoys his food.......being able to get another betta and give him a good home has also really helped me not miss Ricktavious as much (though, of course, I still really miss the little guy). Well, his food is done soaking, gotta go feed him now!

lol...his personality is really similar to my ct's
everytime i get within a foot of his tank, he goes straight to the top looking for food
...and he's quite the bubble nester also

Wow Kevin, that is an awesome bubble nest! Andre (that's the betta's name) isn't able to get that far. So far, both of his good starts on bubble nests have been destroyed in the water changes.

yeah...my betta hates water change time...he built that first one in one day and kept it going for a couple of days...but evil water change baster ate all the bubbles

every since that one was destroyed, he hasn't built anything bigger than the 2nd pic

lol, yea our 1st Betta was a bigtime bubble nester and would flare at me for a day everytime i ruined his nest to clean the tank.

All my Spot does is make bubble nests!! I'm sure if he were human he'd spend his day plumping up his scatter cushions!!
