I went back to the LFS today...the silver/gold/turquoise male veil tail was still there...so I got him....Much to my suprise they had a whole tank full of 1" at the most female CT betta. I got one who is red/blue/green...so is sooooo sweeet. Right now she looks green & her stress bars are showing...here's a bad pix of her. And a few of the new guy.

Great save...aren't the girls cute?? When I got Lotus, only the tiny yellow and white one didn't have stress stripes, the other larger girls had them. I wonder why that is? It will be interesting to see what colour the silve/gold guy ends up...I love the light coloured ones, he is beautiful.

The Silver one is Sammy...and I was thinking on Jewel for the female...her colors are like jewels: rubies, sapphires and emeralds.
