Re: I'm bored someone please answer this

I have not heard of canned peas being fed to a betta. It may well be done, and may well be healthly.

What I do is buy a bag of frozen peas for a couple of bucks, thaw them out under some warm water, and feed a very small part of that to the fish. That, I know, is healthy. Peas are apparently very good for the digestive system, though I am not too sure what the biological differences between canned and frozen peas might would be.

No canned food should be fed to fish. It contains too much salt and preservatives. Fresh peas if they are organic and should be boiled a little to soften them. Frozen green peas are easiest, thawed in hot water or microwaved for 45 seconds. Take skin off and feed 2 very tiny pieces the size of half his eye.

I'm with Phlox on nixing the canned food. Way too much sodium............I just let a frozen pea sit out for 5 mins, then cut and feed. they love it!

Re: I'm bored someone please answer this

we thaw some frozen peas from a bag in the freezer for our fish. if we had to use canned, we'd get the peas that were just peas and water, no sodium.
