OK i'm not suggesting this as an option..... just was thinking that as these little ones are buddies and not your normal fish. They, as you know, really are our mates and it's so hard to leave them at home. They adore you in the way a dog would........amazing.

I often think i'd love to have a small bowl (with lid for Honey's jump!!)to hang around my neck as a necklace so that i could take which ever one showed interest on that day out with me. I'm sure they would love it as they love to explore etc and i would love to look down and see those eyes look up as i go about the day.
The trust with these fish is incredible. I have not put the room light on as Flame is next to monitor and sleeping. He woke from his daze came to say hi and has gone to bed. Such trust!!

but those who know me realise i'm animal mad and if my horse could live in the house she would!!! i have crashed with her in her stable before. ( should i admit that?!?!)

I understand completely! There are days I want to call into work and say,"sorry I'm not coming in. The dog, cat and I are going to sleep in."
My fish come over and watch me and I find myself nose to nose with them watching them too.

i know exactly what you mean, i moved back in with my parents after my LONG relationship broke up. He kept house and the goldfish.....bleep........

Yes it does (I was trying to keep that from Taz Shhhh ) There also betta shoes in which the chunky heels hold water for the betta.

omg .............................................i have never seen such small homes for them!! UK can be but fish homes like that are never seen!!

I know what you mean, My betta is in a 10G castle(as in a mans home is his castle ) with two otos and two corys. the corys are going in the 55G WHENEVER I can catch them. Slippery little suckers they are.

we know how you feel. we look at our little bettas and wish we could just take them wherever we go but stupid things like shoes and all are just inhumane and not really loving to that little pet who loves you.. i guess for now, we'll just have to tote around a big tank..

Spot does this' erm i appear to have dropped my pellet, please fetch it for me wench'.........he is very posh and elegant, if he were human he'd wear a bowler hat carry a copy of the financial times, a cane and would have butler called Jeeves. Honey and Flame are the opposite, they say 'sod the pellet, that finger looks juicey' in fact maybe my idea of a betta necklace might not work with those too, they'd probably go for the neck!! ( my meaty double chin!)
