Hi,
Today I got a tank from my great aunt (fishlore name CapeKate). I will soon be getting a female bettafish. Could you help me find a good color and name that I could use for her.That would be nice if you could think of this.

GypsyGirl.. you'll know the Betta girl for you when you go in and look at them. we picked our Angel (my baby) because she looked at me with a "take me home" look.. we picked out little Sweetie because she was in bad shape from being attacked and was going to die in the cup.. it's really something that just happens.

I always think it's odd when people ask for name suggestions - it's like kids. They tell you what they should be. You'll know what their name is when you spend a little time with them.

yea.. we like to watch ours for a week or so before naming them usually since they have such personalities but you can see on our tanks page, we use names from video games, disney, etc. It's hard to recommend a color since you never know what colors are going to be in the store.. but white ones are so pretty and my fav. color betta.

yah your right, I'll just have to see what color at fish is at the store. One time I saw a beautiful white female betta, she shined pink if I had gotten her and not gypsy, I would of named the white one pearl.

Hello Gypsygirl. I'd love a white one too!! I have Honey, my little girl and she is fab. Plus new boy' Spotty Botty' and mum's boy 'Flame'

I've only had Bettas for a few weeks and the guys on here told me the same as they have said to you, that your fish will choose you etc and it's true, you look at them and then one just says 'hi Mum, can we go home now? this hanging around the store is getting to be REALLY boring!' Same over the name too.

I'm looking forward to seeing her when she finds you!!

Yes i love them. I own the one in the picture and look after my friends horse that is much bigger than mine and slightly crazy.
