So one of my Bala's has some parts of his scales that are like greyed out. The areas are scattered and it only seems like 1 scale, not groups. Theres not many, maybe 10 or so that look this way. Hes been growing some latley, is this something that happens while they are growing at all, or something else? The water checks out good on my testings and hes eating plenty, not any odd behavior either. And on a side note, any suggestions for anchoring plants better? My Pleco uproots everything no matter how deep I seem to bury it!

I have 3 Balas and a pleco in the 55 gallon tank. I am planning on getting a larger tank when I move to a new apartment(My curent apartment has a maximum 50gallon tank size). It seems as if the ones that were missing are back and some new ones are missing. He's stil eating normal, and no odd behaviour from any of the fish.
