Bala Sharks and Channel Cats

I have a 55 gal tank. I have a 7 inch Blue channel cat. I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge of how my channel cat would react to Bala Sharks. I am scared to get the Bala's, because I don't want the catfish to kill them. Should I be worried or would there be no problem.
