Arowana tank buddies

I have a 90 gallon tank setup and me and my dad are setting up are other tank (20 gallon) for my mom she wants a community tank with angelfish, tetra's and elephant nose fish. Those are some of the fish in our 90 right now the rest will be turned in. But me and my dad are keeping our Black ghost and Big Plecostomus in the 90 and getting a Silver arowana thats about 5 to 6 inches now a Clown knife and a peacok Bass. We are so exited to feed them guppies and such we allways wanted big fish and are favortie fish is the Arowana but im just wondering will the arowana be a good Tank mate with the Bass and knife? They will all grow at the same rate (hopefully) and so the arowana can nip at em. Will they all get allong?
Thanks!

The bass and the arowana will outgrow a 90g tank rather quickly, especially with the both of them in there at the same time. They'd likely be okay tankmates, though. All three are Amazonian fish, so you'd have a really neat biotope. For the long-term, I would suggest a tank that's at least 6' long by 3' wide, and as deep as you can get it. This will give the arowana and the bass space to swim around in, as well as extra water to increase the bioload capacity.
The clown knife should have no problems from the arowana, as it sits on the bottom and the arowana hunts the top. I would think the knife would stay big enough to not be eaten by the bass, but I'm not sure.

Edit: By the way, if you plan on guppies being their primary food source, I would suggest starting your own feeder guppy tank. The ones sold by pet stores are really low in nutrition and rife with disease. If you raise your own, on the other hand, you can feed them really well, making them very healthy. Healthy feeders make for healthy predators.

I don't know about the others but arowana are are very strong jumpers and can knock a weighted glass top off. So a locked top of some sort will be in order very soon. all three are very cool fish
