arowana slight drop eye any advice?

My silver arowana is only a few years old (I believe 3, I got him when I was 12, Im 14 now) he is 1 1/2 ft in a 75 gallon and has slight dropeye. I put him on a nutritional low fat restricted diet of frozen mysis shrimp cubes (3 cubes every other day). what is bad is the fact that I have stopped all use of the light, reducing algae to not visible with two common plecos (one 1 ft the other 2 ft) I am afraid for their health as well

any advice will be greatly appreciated
thank you!!!!

I'm afraid you're not going to like my answer: The underlying problem may be that the fish are in too small of a tank. A 75g tank just isn't long enough to provide swimming space for a 1ft fish, let alone a 1-1/2 or 2ft fish. Add to this the rapidly building waste products from three such huge fish, and they're likely all really stressed.

An arowana needs at least five by three feet of tank, and preferably much, much more than that. They need to be able to swim and then turn around easily.

Place some type of plastic ball(s) on the surface of the water that are large enough that the fish cannot swallow it/them.
This condition is quite common in tank kept arowana.
You may have to lower the water level for this to work.
I have heard varying levels of success with correcting existing drooping, but almost all reports say it keeps it from getting worse.
