| a suggested minimum tank size would be ideally a 300 gallon. something 8feet long by 3 feet wide by 2 feet deep even. As they don't require all that much height, something wider and longer is much better. Also, unless raised together or provided a giant aquarium, silver arowanas tend not to do well with just one other silver arowana. They would need a shoal, and although it'd look amazing, I don't have enough room for a tank big enough for 4 or 5 arowana. However, the asian arowanas dont get as long (rarely exceed 30 inches) but are much deeper in the body and grow slower. I get mine in april as well woooo! |
