i'm wondering how long i should wait after adding the AquaPlus stuff into the tap water b4 putting it into the fish tank. any suggestions welcome

It should work really fast.. It may get a little foamy.. I wait until it clears.. then I put it in.

Butterfly's right on - i just put the treatment in our jugs after filling them, shake it a little and pour it in.. i think they all work that fast.

i had a friend tell me to age the water for about a week e/ the AquaPlus thing then do the water change. but, bottom line, it's still ok to put the AquaPlus stir it up a bit then just do a water change right?

Yes, if you are using a conditioner you can put the water in right away.
