Thanks Shawnie... patience I have(I am the mother of a 4year old and 19 month old after all)... time, however, I'm a bit short on... I have a vacation planned in the very near future. I will just be gone for 3 nights, but I want this all worked out before I leave.
I have an extra filter... I just need to get the tub. If I take out all but one of my fish so soon after stabalizing the cycle couldn't that screw it up too? How long should I wait after I get back to 0
ammonia,0 nitrites,10nitrates before I take the fish out to treat? And what is the best way to seed the new filter? I just hope everything stabalizes so that I can treat them before I go on vacation.
