oh no!!!!!! once it was cycled, did you add anything new right away? refresh us on the process as I dont remember all the details...my minds getting old

Nope, didn't add a thing
but i notice when i feed them the oscar makes a huge mess of the pellets and it sinks to the gravel

oh yes..oscars are huge waste producers in their bioload, and how they eat....both leave a ton ....I had to water change and vacuum every other day when I had my pair

amm is the same so no need to test other 2 ... gonna get to work
do you suggest i do a good gravel cleaning i dont want to over clean the tank

in your size tank, 2 small ones a week wont hurt...half the tank one day then the other half another day....you have plenty of space just the oscars are piglets with their food LOL ...a bn pleco or one that stays on the smaller side might help with his food that he spits out....

i'm with shawnie, a bn pleco plus two smaller water changes a week should get you back on track

i'd suggest getting the biggest bristlenose that you can find though, since somebody in your tank is likely to eat him if he's small!
